Land and Crown is a multiplayer strategy game. There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics services, and no sale of data. We only process what is needed to play.
When you visit landandcrown.app, the web server processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, requested page) in server logs kept for operational security and deleted automatically. The website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and embeds no third-party services.
When you start, you choose a made-up player name. The app receives a random access token that is stored on your device. No e-mail address, phone number, or other identification is required. We also store your language setting (German/English) and your chosen profile picture.
The server stores your game state: farmsteads, buildings, armies, battles, points, county membership, and game reports. This data is required to run the game and becomes part of the round history when a round ends.
Messages in the county council are visible only to the members of your county. Messages and player names are automatically checked for abusive content; this check runs on our own infrastructure (api.kroegoor.com) and does not store the texts permanently.
Only with your explicit permission does the server store the push token Apple assigns to your device, so it can notify you of game events (for example, an attack). Delivery is handled by Apple's push service. You can revoke the permission at any time in your iOS settings.
Purchase and billing of the optional subscription are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple account. The server only receives and verifies Apple's signed transaction receipt; we never see your payment details.
Server logs may briefly contain your IP address, a timestamp, and an error state. They serve operations and abuse protection only and are deleted on a regular schedule.
You can request deletion of your account and all game data at any time, informally: an e-mail to info@kroegoor.com is enough. Deleting the app removes the local access token.
